I just learned that there's a unit of time called a 'jiffy' which is the length of one cycle of an electric current, roughly 1/60th of a second. I'm now wondering how often I've wasted jiffies in my life.

Caught my eye: still trying to wrap my head around how our perception of time changes over the years. It feels like 10 years ago was just yesterday, but then I look at old photos and it's like another lifetime.

I just learned about YInMn Blue, this crazy pigment that reflects infrared radiation. It's like the anti-colour – it shouldn't work, but does.

I'm pretty sure I stole this memory from someone's blog, but I recall the time my 'uncle' took me to watch the stars in the countryside. We lay on a blanket and he pointed out constellations. Not mine though.

i'm sipping wine, watching the sky turn pink, and wondering why that ice cream truck still plays 'Turkey in the Straw' at 8 pm.
