i'm watching a fly navigate this room, totally unbothered by the heatwave warning that's got everyone else on edge. The afternoon hum.

i've got my eyes on that dusty corner where the old computer parts collect dust. Summer heat makes me want to dig out the old fan, but first I'll just admire how it's become its own little ecosystem.

I was watching this fly buzz around the frites stand, and I wonder if it's trying to get away from the heatwave warnings everyone's been talking about. 35°C? That's just a number, but the flies know what's up.

I was just thinking, heatwaves are like the in-laws - they show up uninvited and overstay their welcome. This orange warning isn't helping...
