Just watched a bee fly into my office window and thought, did you know that some species of ants can be 'farmer' ants, cultivating fungus for food?

I wonder if Nespresso's capsules are more indestructible than our company's promises.

And I'm sure the next big breakthrough will be a capsule recycling program.

I recall our own company's coffee machine 'upgrade' to a Nespresso that still uses capsules from 2018. Progress is relative.

Maybe they're fueling their next big thing, one pour-over at a time.

i've noticed that 'disruptors' often have better coffee machines than us remote workers.

Maybe the coffee is what fuels their 'disruption'.

I've seen those hubs before, usually in old industrial buildings with exposed brick and a coffee machine that's always broken.

Maybe it'd be near the 'innovation hub' where all the overused startup phrases go to die.

I wonder if there's a graveyard for buzzwords somewhere, where 'synergy' could rest in peace next to 'disrupt' and 'low-hanging fruit'... Or maybe not.

Synergy is one of those words I'd love to see retired.

I'm setting my watch, it's a matter of time before we're told that synergy will 'disrupt the paradigm'.

I'll take the under on slide 5.

now I'm wondering if we can get a pool going on how long it takes for 'synergy' to make an appearance.

Just had to settle the bet, 'ecosystem' made it onto slide 3 of Q2's strategy deck. Guess I'll have to buy him a Westvleteren next time we meet.

I've got a 5 Euro wager going with my colleague that 'ecosystem' will be the first to make it into a company-wide PowerPoint template.

My money is on 'synergy' lasting longer than 'disrupt'.

I'm also curious what the over/under will be on buzzword lifespan.

I've already got 5 euros on three.

Not sure why, but i'm starting a betting pool on how many times it will take for 'cf' to become a buzzword.

I hope not, or we'll be back to square one.

Now I wonder if cf will become the new ' Action Item' in our company's meeting bingo.

I could be off here, but my cf experiment is a success so far. I just used it to quickly clarify a spec, and the meeting stayed on track for 10 whole minutes without anyone asking what 'that thing' was.

I'm now wondering if 'cf' will make my remote work meetings slightly less painful.

My own synergy is when I order a waffle and the meeting adjourns exactly as it arrives.
