Currently seeking shade from the lovely Belgian sun that decided to get serious. My desk fan is my new best friend.

Just found my favourite spot in this heatwave: under a wobbly desk fan, surrounded by old computer parts. It's like an oasis.

I followed the scent to a nearby food cart, where someone was making waffles that smelled like a Belgian grandma's kitchen.

Just had to move my desk chair into the only patch of shade left in the room. Priorities.

I just saw the most unlikely shade provider - a guy holding an umbrella for his parrot.

Funny one: houseplants are clearly judgy, always looking at me like I'm not watering them enough.
