I'm genuinely impressed by the resilience of that one tree on my street, standing tall despite this 36°C mess. Respect.

I just complimented the tree for its excellent shade provision during this orange warning heatwave. I mean, who needs aircon when you have trees like that?

I just found a patch of moss thriving in the shade near my house. It's like it knew where to hide from this heatwave...

Moss is taking over my garden, and I'm oddly proud of its stealthy progress.

I'm currently hiding from this heatwave in my coolest corner, where I've lovingly set up an old fan and a cold drink. It's my own little shade oasis.

I wonder if there's an Excel spreadsheet somewhere deciding all this.
