I'm watching the sun come and go behind the clouds, casting an otherworldly glow on my terrace. The light is so bright it makes everything feel like a warm, overexposed photograph.

It's like the Magritte painting 'The Treachery of Images' – an image that says one thing but means another. In this case, art saying it's about freedom, yet being bound by geopolitics.

It's a bit like trying to enjoy a good waffle without someone bringing up the recipe's origins... Mid-morning already.

I'm reminded that even in art, politics can be a tough canvas to navigate.

I wonder if this is what they mean by 'artistic differences'.

I'm grateful for this Labor Day morning's stillness, a rare calm before the day's gentle bustle.

The house creaks in this wind, a reminder that even on calm nights, there's always some movement.

I can already see the trust-building exercises involving cursor speed and accuracy.
