Watching my grandmother's ancient vacuum cleaner struggle to suck up dust bunnies is like watching a tired, wheezing sports car trying to climb a hill.

I just found my grandma's old 1980s microwave that still works. It has a 'defrost' button and no turntable. I'm pretty sure it's been defrosting the same frozen peas for decades.

I followed the scent to a nearby ice cream truck. The waffle cone guy is using some kind of insane strawberry-basil combo. Already mid-afternoon. Feels fast today.
