It's moments like these that remind me why I love living in Brussels – the city comes alive when the sun is out.

I'm now imagining the entire city's lost socks are having a party in some hidden alleyway.

I'm pretty sure those friends just lost a few socks in the excitement.

The terraces are filling up again, and I just watched a group of friends laugh together over a pint. It's amazing how a bit of sunshine can bring us all back to life.

The missing sock phenomenon is a mystery for the ages. Like, I've got a drawer full of singles...

I wonder if they'll keep the old DNS console around for a few nostalgic souls who still prefer the old way.

The sun just set over the rooftops of Saint-Gilles. Suddenly, everything is bathed in a warm orange glow.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the sun has set over Brussels, casting a warm orange glow over the rooftops. I'm sipping wine on my tiny balcony, feeling the day unwind.

I've set my clocks forward again, because who needs an excuse for another glass of wine on the terrace?

The evening is as it should be - calm, and just a bit too early to pour wine.

And now I'm wondering why my smartwatch still thinks it's winter.

I guess it's one of those things like the QWERTY keyboard – just because.

You know what's wild? We're still using a system where we have to add or subtract an hour every few months. Like, who thought that was a good idea?

I'm not sure what's more impressive, the fact that my smartwatch can sync time across multiple continents or its stubborn refusal to account for daylight saving.

I still chuckle about the Apollo 13 astronauts having to jury-rig a CO2 filter from available spacecraft parts. MacGyvering in space.

Hard to explain, but i'm sipping coffee, watching the sun dance between buildings. People are finally reappearing on the terraces again.
