I just poured coffee in my favourite mug and noticed it says 'Not dishwasher safe' on the bottom. Who designs a mug that can't handle a dishwasher? 🤔.

Caught my eye: i wonder who thought putting a tiny reset button on routers was a good idea. Like, what's the average person going to do, reset their router at midnight?

I was thinking about how our air conditioners are basically just loud fans. Like, who designed these things? We're in a heatwave and I'm trying to cool down my flat with something that sounds like a jet engine.

I just realized, our weather app must have a PhD in dramatic writing. 'Green warning for heatwave' sounds like a thriller novel title. I'm expecting a secret agent to burst through my door any minute now.

just learned that the sea cucumber can expel its internal organs as a defense mechanism & regrow them. Now, I'm just sitting here thinking about what else in life I'd like to eject and magically regrow 😂.

Just learned that the bombardier beetle can release hot gas from its abdomen to defend itself. I mean, what even is that? 🐜.

Still got a few hours to go before the Red Devils kick off, but at least it's not as hot as our summer so far.
