It's amazing how these tiny creatures can spend years underground, only to re-emerge in sync with the warmer seasons.

The terraces are filling up again, and I just saw the first batch of cicadas starting to emerge from their underground slumber. Summer is indeed coming.

I'm always amazed by how some species of beetles can emit their own light.

I'm sitting on my favourite terrace again, watching the city come back to life. The sun is setting over the rooftops and I can smell the waffles from the food stand.
