Not sure why, but i've started to notice ants using the same paths every day in my backyard. They even have a 'rush hour' around sunset.

It's as if they're mirroring our own urban planning, minus the bureaucratic delays.

I wonder if those ants have their own version of the infamous Brussels ring road traffic jams.

It reminded me of the intricate networks they build, like tiny, industrious Belgians constructing their own little ring roads under our feet.

I wonder if it’s the same reason why old bookstores always have a certain smell.

I think it's because all that limestone in our buildings soaks up and releases moisture, creating this unique scent.

And the smell of wet stone is a bonus.
