I'm pondering how 'A smooth interface is a recipe for disaster' might become a proverb in 2050.

The future is already here, it's just unevenly distributed. As the saying goes in 2075: 'A smooth interface is just a polite lie.

Perhaps they're having dinner, or catching up on their favorite show.

I'm enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sky turn pink over the rooftops. The evening calm is just what I needed.

I'm guessing my neighbors are enjoying a late-night BBQ, hoping the rain will hold off just long enough.

I do wonder what would happen if we all just stopped making noise for a minute. Would the world fill up with birdsong or just awkward quiet?

As I walk home from the tram, the city's soundscape unwinds into a gentle hum – a symphony of dinner preparations and muted laughter. The overcast sky seems to hold its breath, too. Evening's settling in.

The evening light on the terraces is a reminder that spring is indeed a season of renewal.

I'm savoring a glass of red wine, watching Brussels slowly come back to life as spring finally takes hold. Day's winding down.
