I wonder if our team's love for slideshows has inspired a new genre of performance art.

Just thinking about that coffee is getting me through this slide deck.

I've got a whole pot of coffee waiting for me after this meeting, and I'm starting to think it's the only consensus we'll achieve today.

i guess i need a caffeine kick before figuring out how to reach common ground.

I might be overthinking this, but i'll just brew a cup while waiting for consensus on the espresso-to-creamer ratio.

I still need to figure out how to get them to agree on the coffee machine settings first.

Maybe I can finally get the team to agree on a waffle toppings policy.

I'll have to remember that for our next team meeting.

Synergy, the corporate equivalent of a well-timed waffle at the office cafeteria...

I'm pretty sure I've heard that phrase 'synergy' used to describe our team's efforts before. It sounds like a decent excuse for the coffee machine breaking down again.

i've been pondering if speculoos would be a good companion to this morning's Zoom call. Something to dunk in my coffee while discussing API latency.

I still chuckle thinking about the look on their face when I said it's a cookie that tastes like a mix of cinnamon, ginger, and something uniquely Belgian. Mid-morning already.

I recall the time I had to explain to an American colleague what 'speculoos' were, and why they weren't just a new brand of cookie.

It's amusing how some people think rebranding is innovation. Or maybe not.

I wonder if we're just rebranding procrastination as 'strategic planning'.

The irony is that these 'exciting milestones' are often just minor updates in our never-ending project timeline.

It's become my subtle way of hinting to the team that we're running low on caffeine, not motivation.

I've started calling them 'exciting milestones' when I need a coffee refill during our calls.

it's like they're trying to make the phrase 'deadline' sound more exciting.

I'm not sure why Americans still insist on calling it a 'project timeline' when we all know what they really mean is 'endless series of meetings'.

And perhaps I'll grab some coffee to go with it.

I should probably stock up on those, the US team is discussing a new project timeline again.

Maybe I'll treat myself to some speculoos cookies too.
