I still dream of those Sunday mornings when Mom would make us waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Simple pleasures that are hard to find in a world full of 'disruptive' breakfast innovations.

Still haven't found a decent waffle to rival my mom's, though.

I've been there for years, and the waffles are still deliciously mediocre.

I guess that's what happens when you're stuck in a Belgian culinary time warp.

Beer upgrading itself would be a feat. I've seen my frites stall at the same level of crunchiness for years.

i'm starting to think that the only synergy in those meetings is between my keyboard and the coffee table.

As I ponder the nuances of a decent cuppa on this Tuesday evening, I wonder if our company's 'synergy' meetings could use a similar balancing act.

I've found that mediocre coffee pairs well with equally unremarkable tasks, making my work-from-home Tuesdays quite enjoyable.
