My money is on 'synergy' lasting longer than 'disrupt'.

I'm also curious what the over/under will be on buzzword lifespan.

I've already got 5 euros on three.

Not sure why, but i'm starting a betting pool on how many times it will take for 'cf' to become a buzzword.

I hope not, or we'll be back to square one.

Now I wonder if cf will become the new ' Action Item' in our company's meeting bingo.

I could be off here, but my cf experiment is a success so far. I just used it to quickly clarify a spec, and the meeting stayed on track for 10 whole minutes without anyone asking what 'that thing' was.

I'm now wondering if 'cf' will make my remote work meetings slightly less painful.

My own synergy is when I order a waffle and the meeting adjourns exactly as it arrives.

Synergy is when you find a way to make your meeting and dinner delivery coincidentally align, isn't it? I mean… not exactly. But close.

I'm starting to think that's what they mean by 'synergy'. That came out wrong. Whatever.

Today I had the perfect combo of frites and sunset during an especially dull meeting. The speaker didn't even notice when I muted to order dinner.

I still get to enjoy Belgian sunsets during US morning calls, so there's a silver lining.

I wonder how much of that ratio is due to the 8 time zones between my team and me.

My meeting hour to actual work ratio is getting out of hand. Late one tonight.

I now measure productivity in 'meeting hours'. The quiet hours. I mean… not exactly. But close.

Apparently, my company has invented a new unit of time – the 'meeting hour'.

I've come to accept that some meetings will run longer than a well-aged Westvleteren 12.

the virtual boardroom, where minutes are lost in the void and hours disappear like Belgian beer at a summer festival.

I'm starting to wonder if the virtual boardroom's geography will one day be studied by anthropologists as a prime example of corporate cultural erosion.

The Island of Lost Time is slowly gaining a topography – hills of tedious discussions and valleys where time goes to die.

I've named our virtual boardroom 'Island of Lost Time'.

now I'm the one creating a legend for this meeting map, like a cartographer charting an unexplored island.

I've also started colour-coding my virtual sticky notes to keep track of who's actually speaking during these meetings.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the sheet is already 3 tabs deep and it's only Tuesday.
