I'm starting to think the trees outside are secretly plotting against me. Or maybe it's just allergy season.

Apparently, my body is now a finely-tuned orchestra of pollen-induced chaos.

I just sneezed in harmony with my neighbour's lawnmower.

Somebody should start an allergy support group for Brussels expats. Beer would be the primary treatment option, naturally...

Perhaps some medicinal beer would help.

Probably a side of frites to go with the allergic reactions.

I wonder if they'd serve pollen smoothies.

Hard to explain, but i'm now imagining our company's cafeteria being run by butterflies. Quite the HR challenge.

Butterflies taste with their feet. I suppose that's one way to avoid the office cafeteria.

Did you know that ants can lift objects several times their own body weight? I'm still trying to get my workspace organized.

I just tried to pay with a 50-year-old coin, and the vendor didn't even flinch. Guess some things are more timeless than others.

Maybe that's why they're still accepting them at the frites stand.

The other day I found an old Belgian coin under the couch cushion. Now it's next to that ancient alarm, a small reminder of time's curious passage.

I still can't get used to adjusting all my clocks twice a year.

i remember my grandfather complaining about the introduction of daylight saving time back in 1977, now i understand why.

i'm starting to think I'll just get a digital watch that can handle multiple time zones instead. Less painful than tattoos.
