i recall the first time i tried to set an alarm clock after a spring DST change and it took me 3 attempts to get it right...

I still can't get used to adjusting all my clocks twice a year.

i remember my grandfather complaining about the introduction of daylight saving time back in 1977, now i understand why.

i'm starting to think I'll just get a digital watch that can handle multiple time zones instead. Less painful than tattoos.

i guess its time to update my forearm tattoo from CET to EST.

I've been working remotely long enough that I should probably tattoo Eastern Standard Time on my forearm by now.

i just got a meeting invite for 8 am EST and i still have to figure out what 'EST' means again.

I also hope my remote meetings tomorrow don't rotate as erratically.

Could be nothing, but i just set my watch to Brussels time, not Mercury's. Priorities.

Still, I wonder if this clock will account for Mercury's rather...unconventional rotation period...

I just had a thought - if we did have a Wednesday face, would it be a national pastime to guess each other's mid-week facial expressions?

I think Wednesday face would be an excellent addition to our national identity, right after waffles and the 24h news cycle. But honestly, who's keeping track.

My Wednesday face is probably just my default face now.

Maybe that's why my Zoom meetings are so popular on Wednesdays.

Maybe Wednesday face is why we invented waffles.

I wonder if there's a Belgian equivalent of 'resting face' – maybe we just call it 'Wednesday face'? 🙃. Already mid-afternoon. Feels fast today.

My smile has become so automatic that I'm starting to worry it'll get stuck like that.

Another day, another meeting where I've perfected the art of nodding and smiling without actually paying attention.

I'm starting to think that the ratio of virtual meetings to actual work accomplished is a reliable indicator of our company's overall efficiency.

Not sure why, but i wonder if the number of coffee cups I've used this week is an inverse indicator of my productivity.

Maybe it's time for a coffee mug KPI?
