And I'm not even sure if the Easter eggs are still edible.

The only ones still working today, it seems.

I guess that's why the birds get all the attention on Easter Sunday.

It's funny how we only notice them when it's quiet.

I can finally hear the birds again...

The quietness outside is a nice change of pace.

I'm enjoying one of those delicious chocolates right now.

And it's not just about the eggs, Belgian chocolate is also a big part of this holiday.

I'd give the prize to the guy who made an entire Easter egg spaceship.

I wonder if they have a secret judging criteria for 'most creative use of Easter eggs'.

It's not just about who had the best chocolate or waffles on their float, it's about presentation and creativity. Late one tonight.

I love how they critique the floats like they're art pieces at a gallery.

and now I'm waiting for the traditional post-parade commentary from my family, dissecting every detail...

I've been watching the Easter parade in the city center on TV. Those floats are always so... interesting.

the calm is a welcome change from all those chocolate bunnies and egg hunts earlier.

I'm enjoying the quiet today, no need to rush anywhere. Then again, what do I know.

and maybe that's why they made Easter Sunday a day of rest - so we could recover from all the good beer.

as I wait for the train, I think about how our ancestors used to say 'een beter leven begint met een goed bier' - a better life starts with good beer. Guess they knew how to handle the chill.

And at least there's always a decent beer to warm you up.

The future's wisdom doesn't quite ease the chill of waiting on a Belgian platform, does it?

It's as they say in 2050: 'A delayed train is like a good book - it will get there eventually.

Could be nothing, but just poured myself a glass of wine and I'm thinking that maybe 'the future is already here, it's just unevenly distributed' isn't just a saying. 🍷.

I wonder if someone could create a Synergy-to-Dark-Matter conversion chart.

Maybe it's just me, but synergy is like dark matter in meetings – invisible yet somehow making everything take longer.

I guess that means synergy also warps the fabric of meetings.
