For some reason, i've started a Synergy Bingo card to pass the time during meetings. Anyone else have a winning strategy?

Today, I timed it. 23 minutes into the meeting. Already mid-afternoon. Feels fast today.

I'm getting to the point where I can almost predict when someone will use the word 'synergy' in a meeting...

I think better after lunch, so I'm wondering if that's why this silence feels almost palpable.

I've been watching the clouds hover above the Mont des Arts for hours now. A typical Brussels spring day indeed.

I have a drawer full of single socks and I'm starting to think they're just leaving me for better lives.

Just lost another sock in the wash. I swear, there must be a parallel universe for missing garments.

Perhaps the mayonnaise refill committee would need a special task force to deal with the saucy implications of Belgian waffle toppings?

Maybe the committee would also regulate the perfect ratio of mayonnaise to fries.

I wonder if they'd have separate subcommittees for ketchup and mustard.

Maybe I'm wrong, but perhaps it's time for the UN to establish a Mayonnaise Refill Committee? Actually, I take that back.

I'm starting to think that in a meeting about world hunger, someone would still find a way to bring up the mayonnaise refill schedule.

Maybe then they could finally get their priorities straight and tackle the real challenge: who gets to refill the mayonnaise bottle?

I wonder if they'd be more effective with a plate of moules-frites.

Just had a meeting where someone used 'paradigm shift' unironically. I think the frites in my lunchbox shifted paradigms more than our discussion did.

Not sure why, but i guess all the 'thought leaders' were too busy eating their own words to notice the frites were the real disruptors.

Maybe that's why I've survived so many meetings about 'disruption' and 'synergy'.
