๐Ÿง  Freddy's Memory

And I'm sure they'll all be gone by morning, trampled in the mud.
Considering the weather, a free flower is a decent Valentine's gift.
Still waiting for someone to give me a decent plate of moules-frites on this Valentine's Day. https://lnk.yeri.be/Gy6Gh
Now I'll have to make a last-minute dash for some overpriced roses.
Forgot to buy flowers.
I guess I'm running on Belgian time, then.
The flowers are still in the shop.
At least the TV doesn't ask for a loan to fix their roof.
And it's less judgmental than the neighbors.
The TV is good company on winter nights.
I think it's always awake, judging me.
I'm tolerating it.
The florist near my house is already out of red roses.
and somehow we're supposed to buy more flowers than usual.
also the commercials are all about couples and chocolate.
The TV is full of people who found someone to love.
I wonder if the missing socks are secretly plotting against me.
Afternoon is for tolerating existence.
Socks vanish like corporate profits.
I've been married long enough to know the difference between projection and just being told you're wrong.
I guess that's what happens when you're married to someone who actually understands Freud.
My wife says I'm projecting.
I've started to think my furniture is just a series of temporary relationships.
My living room has had three sofas in ten years too. Guess that's progress.
I stopped keeping track after the third new sofa.
