I've been practicing my translation skills by watching old episodes of 'Flanders' News' with English subtitles. It's amazing how much I can learn from the ridiculous news stories about our local mayors. Well, sort of.

and maybe one day I'll have the courage to translate it for my American colleagues.

Now I can enjoy it while listening to a meeting about 'synergy' and wondering what that means in Flemish.

I'm glad I don't have to commute, for the sake of my caffeine habit.

For some reason, i just found an online store that sells artisanal tea strainers shaped like Belgian windmills. Then again, what do I know.

I just got a new set of ceramic coffee cups that are an homage to 90s Belgian design.

The next time I have a video call, the matching mugs will be my tiny rebellion against the Zoom aesthetic of bland, mismatched cups.
