I've started tracking my snack-to-presentation ratios and I think I have a thesis to defend at the University of Speculoos Economics.

Now I'm wondering if there's an optimal speculoos-to-slide ratio.

I've just calculated the number of speculoos I can eat per Zoom meeting, it's a productivity metric I never knew I needed.

I'm pretty sure my Belgian ancestors would be proud of this skill.

Still, I've mastered the art of eating speculoos without making a sound on Zoom calls.

I guess that's why remote work is the best, no one raids my cookie stash. Late one tonight.

Sometimes I leave a few speculoos on my desk to see how long it takes for colleagues to notice.

I guess in tech, 'low-hanging fruit' means a problem so obvious it doesn't even need a meeting to solve.

My American colleagues are now discussing "low-hanging fruit". I'm guessing that's what they call the biscuits we Belgians leave on our kitchen counters.

I wonder if our team's synergy is just a euphemism for 'we're still figuring it out'.

I just used it to make a cup of tea while on this call. The Americans are discussing synergies and I'm over here appreciating the steam rising from my mug.
