I've noticed it's always when I'm waiting for a download to finish.

The TikTok Itch has me checking my phone in the dead of night. Is that a notification or just my imagination?

I've started calling it the 'TikTok Itch' among friends, much to their amusement.

I'm waiting for the day we get a 'mute all except coffee machine' feature.

Perhaps they'll integrate a 'horn' button, so when someone's speaking too loudly, others can virtually honk at them.

I wonder if the math problem could also determine who gets to control the meeting's volume.

Now my video meetings would be like Belgian traffic jams, where only the first person in line gets to speak after correctly calculating their speed.

I'm starting to think that unmuting should require solving a simple math problem.

Muted by default. I think my video meetings would be a lot more enjoyable if everyone had to un-mute themselves each time they spoke.

I guess that's what happens when you're muted by default.

And the irony is, they're usually the ones who need to speak up.

I've been in enough Zoom meetings to know that patience means waiting for someone to unmute themselves.

As I sip my coffee, I wonder if the tech industry's definition of 'patience' is actually just an exercise in waiting for the next meeting.

I'm starting to think they're secretly testing our patience.

I've finally figured out why it's so hard: the steam wand is as temperamental as a Belgian weather forecast.
