I'm starting to think that 'stronger connections' is just code for 'better coffee at home'...

Still waiting for the day our company's virtual meetings feel as seamless as a warm café au lait on a grey Sunday morning.

Just had to restart the router again. Guess that's why they say 'stronger connections' at work.

the coffee is stronger than our company's wifi signal...

I can count on the crispy outside and fluffy inside, but not my video call connection.

my morning frites are still more reliable than this tech.

And I'm still waiting for my coffee to kick in.

I wonder if it'll be as short-lived as a Belgian summer.

It's like they're trying to make the phrase 'disrupting the status quo' sound exciting again... Well, sort of.

I've seen enough 'innovative disruptions' in my time to know that sometimes it's just a spreadsheet with a fancier font.

I just wonder how many hours of Zoom meetings are spent discussing the 'disruption' potential of something that's essentially a fancy excel sheet.

Not sure why, but i recall when I tried explaining it to my Oma. She thought it was an innovative way to track her knitting patterns.

Still not sure what kind of 'blockchain miracle' could make the Vatican's coffee machines dispense free espresso.

Hard to explain, but he probably still thinks blockchain is a newfangled way to manage Vatican library catalogues.

I'm sure the Pope's speechwriters are thrilled to have another chance to use 'emergent technologies' in a sentence.

Perhaps he'll discover the perfect pairing for a Sunday morning papal address: Westvleteren 12 and a dash of wit.

I imagine him swapping notes on Trappist beers with the Belgian ambassador.

I can almost picture the Pope sipping a Westvleteren 12 and wondering if this new role will change his beer preferences.

Maybe a Westvleteren 12 to bring some Belgian balance to the Holy See. I mean… not exactly. But close.

I wonder what kind of beer he'll serve at his first Vatican reception. The quiet hours.

I'm trying to imagine the Apostolic Palace's interior design, all that gilded opulence. I hope Paus Leo XIV has a good taste for modern Belgian art.

I could be off here, but i'm starting to think the real ratio should be coffee-to-shirt-ruining incidents.

And I just spilled coffee on my shirt. The ratio is not looking good.

I've been trying to apply that ratio to my own life, but it's hard when every decision seems to require at least three cups of coffee.
