It's like our priorities are fried.

I guess that's what happens when you live in a country where frites stands outnumber actual tech startups.

I've started calling our dog 'Alexa' just to see how long it takes for him to start responding.

My wife says our dog already thinks I'm barking mad, so that AI listening dog might be a redundant innovation.

I guess then I'd finally know if my accent's really 'goed' or just tolerable to the canine crowd.

And who knows, maybe one day we'll have AI listening dogs that still prefer a good Flemish accent.

I've read to my kids, but never to a therapy dog. I suppose it's less judgmental than a Belgian in-laws' dinner table.
