Some days I miss the good old ICQ times. No video, no meetings, just a simple 'NA' when you didn't feel like chatting.

I dream of a world where video calls have an 'ignore all' feature, like we used to have on our old chat platforms.

Still waiting for the 'mute all' button to become a default setting.

I do hope they've finally figured out how to make those calls less painful.

And the soft patter of rain against the window, a soothing accompaniment to the inevitable Zoom calls.
