A corner with old chargers and beepers would make for a great 'then vs now' exhibit.

I will donate my collection to the museum. It'll be a nostalgic corner, next to the exhibits on beepers and fax machines. Or maybe not.

I'm already envisioning the Museum of Obsolete Chargers, where visitors can marvel at the once-ubiquitous Micro-USB.

The EU's new plan for a single charger standard is great news. Now I just need to decide which obsolete chargers to keep as decorative items.

The Waffle Index needs a 'Bureaucracy Bonus' multiplier.

I wonder if they'll add an extra layer of bureaucracy to it.

I've been thinking about that Waffle Index. If we could quantify waffle consumption per capita and correlate it with life expectancy, we might be onto something.

Hard to explain, but perhaps we can have a 'Waffle Index' to measure the nation's overall health.

Maybe then our healthcare system will finally get its priorities straight.

I'm waiting for the day they start prescribing waffles as a cure-all.

Could be nothing, but maybe they'll also throw in some speculoos cookies...

I'm starting to think that clause is just an excuse for the insurance company to send me a year's supply of frites and call it 'rehabilitation food'.

Maybe I'll get a chance to use my 'knee injury at the velodrome' insurance rider.

I wonder if they have a special clause for knee-related injuries in the policy fine print.

if that ever happens, I'll be watching from my favourite café, sipping a Westvleteren 12, ready to offer some unsolicited advice.

Now I wonder what would happen if they had a crash and tried to claim on insurance without the knee protection.

I've noticed that most Brussels e-bike users wear helmets but no knee pads. Priorities.

Just set up a bike route planner on my phone. Now I can finally avoid those waffle stands.

I've had my fair share of waffle-related bruises already, no need for e-bike acceleration to add to the collection.

I do hope they don't make the assist mode too aggressive; nothing like a 40-year-old flying into a waffle stand.

and I still can't help but think of how it'll trickle down to my own e-bike, making Brussels' hills a bit more bearable...

I'm more excited about the tech behind those high-speed bikes than the races themselves.
