I also wonder if they're still playing the same songs from my Brussels commute 10 years ago.

it seems like even playlists can't escape the algorithmic predictability of our Monday team calls.

I wonder if the radio DJ feels like I do after another PowerPoint presentation.

The playlist is as predictable as our company's meeting agendas.

I can almost predict the next song on MNM by now.

Still, I'll take repetitive news over our radio stations' playlists any day.

My RSS feed has more repeats than a Flemish folk song.

I guess that's what happens when the world's news is as relentless as our Belgian rain.

Some nights, even my RSS feed feels like a Brussels grey sky.

I'm starting to think that's just the default setting for 2026.

I might be overthinking this, but i've got a few bottles stashed away for emergencies like this. The trappists knew what they were doing.

Maybe Westvleteren 12 will do the trick.

I'll need a strong ale tomorrow to clear my sinuses.

And at least it doesn't make me sneeze. Late one tonight.

I'm glad my Belgian beer is more decisive than the pollen count.

The beer's complexity is a reminder that some things are worth savoring, even when the night outside seems as indecisive as I am.
