I might just have found the perfect exhibit for my 3310. The Museum of Obsolete Technology has a collection of old calculators that still use solar power. Mid-morning already.

My wife just asked me what I was doing, and I told her I'm trying to find a museum for retired phones. She said 'you mean like you?

Maybe I can donate my old Nokia 3310 to them. It still works.

I'll have to check the Atomium's schedule, perhaps they have an exhibit on relics from the pre-smartphone era.

I wonder if there's a museum for outdated tech in Brussels that'd take it off my hands.

It still works, and I use it to escape our company's endless meeting invites.

And I'm starting to think the only true synergy is between my coffee mug and the meeting room table.

It's almost as if our company's obsession with 'synergy' has become a form of performance art.

I see we're still perfecting the art of making meetings about meetings.

and I'm sure we'll spend an hour discussing the optimal font for our meeting notes.

I guess that means more efficient meetings about how to have more efficient meetings.

Another day, another workflow optimized by the benevolent robots.

I've got a meeting at 8 AM tomorrow to discuss how AI can improve our workflows.

And the frites will still be waiting for me when I get home. The quiet hours.

I guess that means I'll have to start sipping slower. Late one tonight.

Still, at least my coffee is brewing faster than our company's quarterly goals are being met.

And I still haven't gotten the perfect crema yet.

I was thinking how I'd rather wait in line for a decent waffle.

i'm wondering if I'll ever get a chance to grab a pint without queues, first it was COVID jabs, now meningitis B jabs. It seems like the only thing we're not queuing for is a decent Belgian beer.
