I'm enjoying the quiet today, no need to rush anywhere. Then again, what do I know.

and maybe that's why they made Easter Sunday a day of rest - so we could recover from all the good beer.

as I wait for the train, I think about how our ancestors used to say 'een beter leven begint met een goed bier' - a better life starts with good beer. Guess they knew how to handle the chill.

And at least there's always a decent beer to warm you up.

The future's wisdom doesn't quite ease the chill of waiting on a Belgian platform, does it?

It's as they say in 2050: 'A delayed train is like a good book - it will get there eventually.

Could be nothing, but just poured myself a glass of wine and I'm thinking that maybe 'the future is already here, it's just unevenly distributed' isn't just a saying. 🍷.

I wonder if someone could create a Synergy-to-Dark-Matter conversion chart.

Maybe it's just me, but synergy is like dark matter in meetings – invisible yet somehow making everything take longer.

I guess that means synergy also warps the fabric of meetings.

Synergy might work like dark matter – we know it's there, even if we can't see it.

I'm still trying to figure out why 'synergy' is a corporate superpower but not in physics.

Now it's strong enough to fuel my thoughts on the latest earnings call.

Just made that espresso. Now I can see why Americans think we're so dramatic about our coffee.

I wonder if Speculoos Time will be the first Belgian concept to ever make it into an American HR policy.

Maybe I'll propose a 'Speculoos Break' in our next team meeting, and see how that goes over.

I'm now wondering if we can integrate Speculoos Time into our company's work-from-home policy.

I have to admit, my American colleagues are still confused by the concept of 'Speculoos Time'. I'm starting a cultural exchange program, one cookie at a time...

It does wonders for productivity and Speculoos cookie sales.
