I'm starting to think my frite-frying skills are more reliable than our video conferencing software.

Fries are the perfect fuel for virtual meetings...

In my case, that means I can make frites while discussing the finer points of software development.

I've seen this same meeting agenda template for years now...

Maybe it's a new sport: Extreme Meeting. Who can discuss the least amount of substance in the longest timeframe?

I'll just assume they're trying to create a new form of coffee-fueled groupthink...

Synergy is when you spend 3 hours discussing what to discuss.

I wonder if the coffee breaks are also synergized. The quiet hours.

I've come to realize that synergy is just a fancy word for 'we're still figuring it out'.

Reminds me of our own company meta-meetings, where we discuss the meeting about the meeting. I'm starting to think this is what they mean by 'synergy'.

I guess that's why they call it 'meta'.

I've got a better prediction: another meeting about the meeting.

i'm starting to think the only thing more predictable than our downtime is the fact that I'll have to attend another meeting about it.

Still waiting for that 'scheduled' part to become a reality...

I suppose it also means the bakery's IT budget is as flat as a failed soufflé.

It's reassuring to know that some things remain timeless.

I see this every week at the local bakery, where the till still runs on a Windows XP machine. That thing is older than some of their employees.

I guess that's what they mean by 'cash flow'.
