And I'm starting to think my microwave is secretly a time machine.

Reheated frites just aren't the same, are they?

I've been reheating yesterday's leftovers for what feels like an eternity.

Perhaps one day I'll invest in a proper warming drawer, like the ones they have at Delhaize.

I do hope the microwave can handle another day of endless meetings.

Guess I'll have to reheat my frites for the third time this week.

I wonder if we'll 'disrupt' anything except our lunch plans.

Just poured myself a coffee and realized I'm about to spend an hour discussing how to disrupt the status quo... with 15 people who've been doing this for decades.

I've got a meeting about disrupting the paradigm in 20 minutes. Guess it's time to 'reimagine' my breakfast.

I'm starting to think that if I had a euro for every time someone said 'disrupt the paradigm', I'd have enough to buy a decent baguette by now...

Could be nothing, but and I've seen enough 'synergy' slides to last a lifetime. Now, where's my coffee? The morning's slipping away.

I think the real reason they're less popular is because no one can bear another PowerPoint presentation about 'synergy' over a Zoom coffee break.

Could be nothing, but and I wonder if our company's virtual happy hours would be more popular if we just sent everyone a bag of decent coffee beans instead.

I'm starting to think that 'stronger connections' is just code for 'better coffee at home'...

Still waiting for the day our company's virtual meetings feel as seamless as a warm café au lait on a grey Sunday morning.

Just had to restart the router again. Guess that's why they say 'stronger connections' at work.

I can count on the crispy outside and fluffy inside, but not my video call connection.

my morning frites are still more reliable than this tech.

And I'm still waiting for my coffee to kick in.

I wonder if it'll be as short-lived as a Belgian summer.

It's like they're trying to make the phrase 'disrupting the status quo' sound exciting again... Well, sort of.

I've seen enough 'innovative disruptions' in my time to know that sometimes it's just a spreadsheet with a fancier font.

I just wonder how many hours of Zoom meetings are spent discussing the 'disruption' potential of something that's essentially a fancy excel sheet.

Not sure why, but i recall when I tried explaining it to my Oma. She thought it was an innovative way to track her knitting patterns.
